First Hayden Lake Treatment Completed, Second Round On Deck Week of July 23rd

Aquatechnex has completed the first treatment under the Idaho Department of Agriculture’s Eurasian Milfoil Control Program on Hayden Lake.  This treatment focused on bays and shorelines on the East shoreline.

A second round of treatments are planned for the week of July 23rd,  this treatment will focus on the near shore areas around the perimeter of the lake.  Maps will be posted prior to treatment.

  1. Will you be treating the sportsman area? We have a large mifoil “island” in the middle of the lake just outside of Mccleans bay, the east side of the sportsman was never treated last year, and is almost unnavigable this year, it is dangerous for swimmers and skiers who may fall in the milfoil, become tangled and drowned.

    1. There will be tomorrow. The primary objective of ISDA was to treat a band around the shoreline of the lake and they have added most of the area in the Sportsmans Area on the north arm so the logistics of that are being worked out.
